Goals settings

Jüulio™ provides a flexible and robust framework for managing goal settings, which includes setting up objectives, key results, and incorporating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This tutorial will guide you through configuring goal settings effectively to maximize strategic alignment and accountability within your organization.

Accessing Goal Settings

  • Navigate to Goal Settings: Log into your Jüulio™ account and go to the ‘Goals’ section. Within this area, find and select ‘Goal Settings’ to begin customizing how goals will be managed.

Setting Entry Limits

  • Maximum Number of Entries:
    • Configure Entry Limits: Determine the maximum number of objectives and key results that can be added within your organization. This helps in maintaining focus and not overloading teams with too many simultaneous goals.
    • Update Settings: Once you choose a number, it will automatically update the system limits.

Ownership Settings

  • Objective and Key Result Ownership:
    • Specify Ownership Options: You can set who can own an objective or a key result—options include employees only, teams only, or both.
    • Apply Settings: Select the most appropriate option based on your organizational structure and management style.

Integrating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Adding KPIs to Key Results:
    • Enable KPI Integration: Decide whether to add KPIs to key results. KPIs help in quantifying performance and ensuring goals are measurable.
    • KPI Setup: For each KPI, input the name, description, metric type (currency, numerical, percentage), and the unit of measure (e.g., sales, visitors).
    • Assign a Lead: Designate a lead employee responsible for each KPI, enhancing accountability.

Task Integration

  • Link Tasks to Key Results:
    • Task Attachment: Attach specific tasks to key results, which directly contributes to achieving specific objectives. This aligns daily operations with strategic goals.
    • Manage Task Progress: Ensure tasks linked to key results are tracked within the task management section of Jüulio™.

Configuring Timeframes

  • Setting Timeframes for Goals:
    • Choose Timeframes: Select from various timeframe options such as annually, quarterly (broken down by quarters), monthly, weekly, or daily.
    • Custom Timeframes: If needed, set custom timeframes that better fit your project cycles or reporting periods.
    • Activation: Activate the chosen timeframes and save the settings.

Managing Key Performance Indicators

  • Adding and Tracking KPIs:
    • New KPI Creation: To add a new KPI, provide its name, description, select the appropriate metric, and define the unit it will measure.
    • Set Targets: Define the target value for each KPI, determining what success looks like for that indicator.
    • Current Values: Input the current value, which is generally zero unless tracking has started prior to setup.
